What it takes to be a Woman Entrepreneur
What does it take to be a woman entrepeneur?
I was invited onto Blog Talk Radio this week to discuss the secrets of entrepreneurial greatness. Here are some of the secrets I revealed. - Karen Sperling
- Entrepreneurs start out with a dream
- They make goals for themselves
- They are ambitious
- They ask questions
- They listen
- They have a plan for getting where they want to go
- They review their plan often and change it when necessary
- They won’t take NO for an answer
- They are always open to learning
- They view every experience as a learning opportunity
- They use their strengths and recognize their weaknesses
- They have mentors and role models
- They make mistakes
- They learn from their mistakes
- They celebrate small victories
- They are not afraid to follow the path less taken
- They pick themselves up and they keep going
- They keep their eyes on the prize

Great post! Entrepreneurs should also overcome peer pressures in business by not comparing themselves to their competitors, having in mind what works best for the business and visualize how they want the business to be.

Great post! I work for a woman entrepreneur who is pretty much all of what you outlined above :) She started her company in 1998 out of her house with nothing but a phone and a computer and no investments of any kind. Now it's a multi-million dollar business which has awarded her placement on the Inc. 500/5000 lists.
Women like this really make such a huge impact in the world!
This is a great list you've compiled.
I can attest to many women entrepreneurs that
exhibit the qualities listed and many that would
benefit from the information you've shared.
Thanks.
